测试你或你的孩子是否可能有蓝色的眼眸
研究表明在OCA2基因区域拥有TGT/TGT单体型组合的个体可能会有蓝色的眼睛
Thales of Miletus has a saying that "The most difficult thing in life is to know yourself". While this is not always the truth when it comes to our eye color, or more specify, whether we have blue eye color.
To Be Blue or Not To Be Blue, this is the question. This question can be answered by a diplotype relate to three OCA2 SNPs. A research found that the TGT/TGT diplotypes which were found in 62.2% of the samples were driving eye color changes. 90.5% of the TGT/TGT diplotypes samples have blue or green eyes while only 9.5% have brown eyes.
Test whether you or your child may have blue color eyes.
Result:
If you have TGT/TGT diplotypes : You may have blue eyes (so may your child).
If you do not have TGT/TGT diplottypes but have all the diplottypes alleles : You may not have blue eyes, but your child may have blue eyes.
If you do not have all diplottypes alleles: You may not have blue eyes (so may your child).
