I was adopted from China and know nothing about my biological parents.

Hi there, B4a1 is a very common maternal haplogroup... I doubt you will be able to locate any close relatives based merely on this information.. someone with a full match with your mtdna result might be closer, but we may be talking about a span of a few years to a few hundred years, and that is a long time

I think the posibility you find your biological parents here is rare. You'd better reach the police of the city you adopted. If your parents are also looking for you, they may have saved their genes in the police' database.

Hey Hongyi, you can find people who share identical segments with you in "基因关系", they are your possible relatives within 9 generations. It's on top row of the page under "探索" (just click on the red circle), hope this helps!

Vickor, Thank you. I checked the "EXPLORE, My genetic relationship" capability. This is what it said:

"Have not found a match with your genetic data users, remember to come back to see Oh"

No genetic matches have been found. I will check back from time to time.

B4a1 must NOT be a common maternal line since I do not match to anyone in the Wegene database.
